What causes this? And how can it be fixed?
The cause of the abnormality
1. Orange spotting on palm leaves, where orange spots are distributed across the leaf surface and are translucent when backlit, is caused by a deficiency of potassium.
2. White striping on palm leaves, characterized by white stripes on the fronds along their length, is caused by an imbalance between nitrogen and potassium.
Solutions:
• Ensure complete fertilization with all essential macro and micronutrients.
• Use the correct ratio, such as N:P in a ratio of 3:1:5.
• Avoid over or under-applying any type of fertilizer.
• Apply each type of fertilizer at intervals close to each other.
